The House and Property Committee involves both administration and hands-on,
skinned-knuckle work. Members get to do both or take their pick. The
committee also oversees the work of our sexton.
In recent years, the committee has refurbished the parsonage (which
is now rented) , installed traffic aids on the property, coordinated
improvements to the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall, and repeatedly and
successfully wrestled with the church's antiquated heating system. The
committee has an ongoing program to improve and beautify the grounds
of the church.
Twice each year the committee
organizes church and grounds cleanups, from pew polishing and wall
paintng to brush chopping and wood chipping, to new plantings.
